This custom estate in Wildwood, Florida was built for our clients who wanted a traditional home with a coastal influence. They were inspired by the open ocean and the feeling of being on a sailboat, and the design brings that vision into a warm and comfortable living space.
The bricked front steps and porch swing set the tone for the home’s traditional style. Inside, the great room opens to views of a spacious backyard that was planned for both quiet afternoons and active family time. The outdoor area includes a pool, an outdoor shower, a putting course, an outdoor kitchen with a bar featuring swing seating, a copper fire pit, and a large back porch with retractable shades.
Throughout the interior, custom woodwork, built-in furniture, and detailed cabinetry reflect our team’s craftsmanship. The man cave highlights this approach with a concrete bar, a lift door that opens to the outdoor bar, and a brick feature wall with industrial pipe details that bring the feeling of an old historic building into the space. A teak pocket door modeled after teak work found on sailboats leads to a built-in storage area and ties the coastal inspiration back into the design.
The primary suite was created as a calming retreat with a spa-like atmosphere, wall accents, and custom ceiling details that complete the room.
This home represents the close partnership we build with our clients and the care we take in turning their ideas into a unique and personal living experience.
